Little Roglets Wins The Gift Fair UK Future Star Award

Little Roglets Wins The Gift Fair UK Future Star Award

At the heart of everything we do is a mission to make the gift industry more accessible—for buyers, exhibitors and especially newcomers.

The Gift Fair UK was created to be an inclusive, welcoming space where everyone feels supported. In the tech world, they call these kinds of spaces incubators—places where young companies can grow and thrive.

That's exactly what we're trying to be for the gift industry.

We know how tough it can be for start-ups and independent designers to get their foot in the door, and we want to help change that.

That's why we created the Future Star Award.

What Is The Gift Fair UK Future Star Award?

The Future Star Award is an initiative by The Gift Fair UK that gives emerging gift brands and independent designers the opportunity to exhibit for free at an upcoming edition of our online trade show.

It's open to businesses that are under five years old, offering young brands an opportunity to showcase their products, reach potential retail buyers and build valuable industry connections.

Trade shows are one of the best ways to get in front of buyers—but let's be honest, they can be expensive.

We know because we've been there ourselves—at Spring Fair, Top Drawer, Atlanta, NY NOW and more. For a new designer trying to get noticed for the first time, those costs can be a real barrier.

So, we wanted to do something about it.

The Future Star Award is our way of giving fresh talent a platform to shine, without the usual cost of exhibiting.

What Do We Look for in a Future Star Award Winner?

We see the gift industry as fast-moving and trend-driven—much like fashion.

Creativity, innovation and originality are at the heart of what we look for in our Future Star winners.

But it's not just about having a great product. We also consider the brand's potential to grow, establish itself in the market and make a lasting impression on the gift industry.

Whether it's an original design concept, a fresh approach to gifting or a distinctive brand identity, we're looking for businesses that bring something exciting to the table.

Meet the Future Star Award Judge: Meera Santoro

Our judge is Meera Santoro, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Santoro, who brings extensive experience in design, creativity and business.

Alongside her work in the creative industry, Meera is involved in several philanthropic and professional initiatives.

She is a UK ambassador for the re-establishment of the KwaZulu-Natal Children's Hospital in Durban, sits on the committee for Caudwell Children's charity, and is involved with E2E Exchange, The Women's Chapter and the British Fashion Council Trust.

Her experience and creative perspective make her a valuable voice in recognising the next generation of gift industry talent.

Little Roglets: A Future Star Award Winner

We got a bit excited for our first-ever Future Star Award and ended up choosing two winners!

One of those winners was Little Roglets, the emerging gift brand created by Lex Rogy.

Little Roglets was recognised as part of the Future Star Award's mission to celebrate creativity, originality and the potential of young businesses in the gift industry.

In this blog, we're shining a spotlight on Lex Rogy and Little Roglets, celebrating their achievement and the fresh talent helping shape the future of gifting.
